Krista Shorf-Guffin
Senior Coordinator, Institutional Giving
Krista Shorf-Guffin joined Music Will in January 2024 as Senior Coordinator, Institutional Giving bringing over a decade of expertise in music education. Prior to joining our team, Krista served as an elementary music teacher for Akron Public Schools from 2013 to 2023. During her tenure, she specialized in integrating technology, excelling in grant writing, and fostering student engagement through a diverse range of popular musical genres.
With a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Ohio Northern University (2013) and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Wright State University (2017) Krista brings a diverse educational background to Music Will. Her passion for the arts started with singing in choir in middle school, then performing in many musicals in high school, and eventually studying voice at the college level.
Residing in Macedonia, Ohio, Krista proudly identifies as a lifelong Cleveland enthusiast. She cherishes the opportunity to be a tour guide for visitors, showcasing the city she loves. Outside of work, Krista enjoys quality time with her husband and dog, attending concerts and shows, exploring her culinary skills, and embarking on travel adventures. A passionate advocate for home renovations, Krista finds joy in transforming spaces.
