Veronica Sheehan is an operations executive with two decades of experience driving scale, disciplined execution, and organizational transformation across corporate and nonprofit environments. Proven track record leading end-to-end operations for Finance, Human Resources, Technology, and Business Operations to deliver growth, efficiency, and mission impact. Brings a unique blend of corporate and nonprofit leadership, managing both lean, mission-driven environments and complex $100M+ budgets. Trusted leadership partner recognized for building enterprise systems, high-performing teams, and cultures of innovation, accountability, and equity. 

During her 16-year career at Turner/WarnerMedia (now Warner Discovery), Veronica was chosen to lead efforts to turn around several underperforming operations by implementing innovative organizational designs, operating strategies, and customer service models. In her last role at Turner, Veronica was selected to lead a new function for the media company as SVP of Global Network, Technology and Studio Operations. Earlier in her career, Sheehan spent 11 years in New York City in key operations roles in several privately held television studios. Lauded for her operational and technical leadership and her exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, she has been the recipient of numerous awards. To name a few, each year from 2006 to 2014, Cable Fax magazine named her one of the “Most Powerful Women in Technology”; in 2011, she was awarded “Mother of the Year” by Working Mother Magazine and in 2010, Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) named her the industry’s “Woman to Watch”.  

In 2016 Veronica shifted her professional focus to follow her passion for advancing the lives of women and children. She created OCNavigators, a consulting firm that guides non-profit organizations through small and large scale organizational change and effectiveness efforts. In 2018 Veronica was recruited to the role of Chief Operating Officer for Make-­A-­Wish Georgia; in this new role, she was responsible for developing and leading the functions of Human Resources, Business Affairs, Finance, and IT.  

Veronica has been an active Board Member and current Mentor for The Startup Runway Foundation whose mission is to plug investors into top startups led by underrepresented founders through showcase events and an Angel network. Veronica earned a BA in Communications and Journalism from St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY and was recently elected to the University’s Board of Trustees. Veronica now lives in Atlanta, GA and is the proud Mom of her son Christopher (her most important role in life)! She is a Brooklyn, NY native who spent 9 years of her childhood at Miss Ricky’s School of Dance that solidified her love of music and dance.
