What is a Zip-Kit?
Zip-Kit is the brainchild of Dave Wish, Founder of Music Will, a nonprofit organization that has provided free music lessons and instruments to nearly 2,000,000 students across the USA.
“I invented the Zip-Kit so that entire classrooms of kids could learn to play the drums at the same time,” says Dave. “You just can’t do this with regular drum sets – they’re way too loud, too big and too expensive.”
Dave spent years developing the perfect classroom drum set in his basement workshop and after meeting with the folks at NUVO, the Zip-Kit became a reality!

For more than two decades, Music Will has provided access to music education to over a million students who might not have otherwise had access in their schools. These programs teach students popular genres such as rock, pop, R&B, Latin, rap, and country, along with styles found in typical school programs such as classical and jazz.
We strive to make music education available to all students regardless of their socioeconomic background, and it should reflect the cultures of the students we serve.
